Where Have All The (Lawson) People Gone?

I have a number of clients who are looking to fill various Lawson-related positions, and simply can’t find anyone. Even in DC–a major metro area.

It’s kind of scary that there really aren’t any people looking. You would think with the economic gloom and outsourcing and offshoring that we’ve had over the past few years that there would be a huge pool of available resources, but there really isn’t.

Which means that people with Lawson knowledge are in high demand, or that there is so a low demand for Lawson skills, and that means nobody is available. Same issue, viewed from two different angles I guess.

    I, for one, never refuse to listen to a good offer. I am very experienced in the Lawson Procurement Module. So if you are still in need of a permanent placement I would be happy to talk to you.

    I agree we have been looking for a Lawson Administrator for 4 months and aren’t having any luck. The position would be in Boston or DC but we not even getting resumes. Do you recommend any ideas – its a great company and the compensation is pretty high.

    I lived near the DC area and sent numerous resumes. No interviews. I did interview and accept an over out in the Southwest. If you have a job opening, don’t drag your feet find the person and make an offer. Waiting too long to decide will not work in your favor.

    Any additional insight on this after the New Year? We are looking for an Application Consultant and candidates are in such demand they are being snagged up quick? Any ideas of where they have gone?
