There’s Simply No Excuse

Yes, I know.  I’m taking a cheap shot.

But this is just ridiculous, and this is not an isolated incident:

And Lawson’s new CIO has been on the job for almost a year.

    I am stupefied by this!
Is there nobody home at Lawson?

I am afraid of Lawson turning off the “old” support site in lieu of mylawson.com. I shutter to think of trying to find basic articles. I hope that I am wrong.

I guess I am more understanding that most. I usually get good service from support. I can get a little frustrated when they ask me to start back at zero on something – as if I have not tried to restart my computer….

I like the new mylawson and feel like we need to give some latitude so that they will try new things. Look at how long clients have asked them to keep LID and all that has done is slow them down on new interfaces.

The new site was down again today. While it appears to be back up and functioning, I have spoken with a few peers who all seem to distrust the KB’s search results. I am all for progress but consultants and clients need the new site to be bullet proof. I just don’t think that it’s there yet.
